Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel, Autograph Collection

The location was excellent. Within walking distance or a very short drive to many excellent restaurants and within walking distance to great walking / jogging paths around the lake. Room was very nicely furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. Exterior of the hotel is very interesting / visually cool from an architectural standpoint. Free parking in a garage directly across the street. Would definitely return.

The environment, staff and overall vibe were all amazing! I loved the taste of Columbia that the Merriweather Lakehouse offers (e.g. photos related to Columbia, view and proximity to the lakefront & nearby events)! Many walkable activities.

I ate breakfast all three mornings during my stay. All three meals were different and excellent.

The staff were very hospitable and friendly. Morgan went above and beyond to compensate for the mishap with housekeeping. The view of the lake from the hotel, amenities and close proximity to shops, restaurants and concert venue was awesome.

Absolutely beautiful location; we came down for a concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion and took advantage of the nice weather and WALKED to the concert (less than 15 minutes walking distance). Our rooms had balconies overlooking the lake, were blissfully quiet, and really elegantly styled - light blue ceramic tile bath and lots of counter space for a group of women getting ready at the same time. We hit the hotel bar after the concert, where they had drink and food specials that tied into the concert experience! We didn't get to bed until late, but it was worth the wait. I am not exaggerating when I say the hotel beds are probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in - soft, clean, linens, and a mattress and pillows that were the perfect mix of softness and support. The next morning, our buffet breakfast, which I believe was about $22, was fantastic! Beautiful restaurant, and a nice selection of hot (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, roasted potatoes, waffles) and cold (yogurt, fresh berries and melon, granola, banana bread and scones) items. I believe there were also gluten-free options. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff, from bartenders and chef to the front desk and restaurant servers, were extremely friendly and gracious.
